Advent Schedule Begins

| Posted in Congregational LifeNews

Yesterday, November 30, was the first day of Advent, the beginning of the church year. Advent offers a time of anticipation, first as a reminder of the first coming of Jesus, born as man into this world, and also as a time of looking forward to His second coming as King of kings. We offer several opportunities to fellowship and worship at Living Word Free Lutheran Church throughout the Advent season, which are outlined below.

Advent Suppers

Each Wednesday in Advent (not including Christmas Eve), we will be offering a light supper at 5:30pm. Come for good, warm food and fellowship with your Living Word family! If you're not part of our congregation, let this be an easy way to come and get to know us!

Advent Services

Following each supper at 6:45 we will hold a mid-week Advent worship service. Join us as we hear from teachers from Abiding Savior Free Lutheran Church, our sister congregation, and exalt the the coming King together.

Christmas Eve

We will enjoy worshiping together on Christmas Eve at 4pm.
