We can know for a fact that the Word of God is true. What we sometimes don't know is how it can be used effectively in our personal lives. May we learn that this morning.

Paul states in 2 Timothy 3:6 that the Word is profitable for teaching, reproof, and correction or to get us on track and keep us there. We learned through the news last week how important it is for a train to stay on its tracks. It is not only disastrous for a train to jump the tracks but it is disastrous for you and I to ignore the Word of God and run our own lives off track.

This morning we want to take Paul's word (which is God's Word) to a young believer (Timothy) and be challenged to get on board the train and arrive safely at our God's appointed station.

Pray for God to use His word in your life right now! God help us to sense the urgency and importance of a God-directed life.
