November is centered on a series of sermons that help us give thanks to God. Today our time will be spent in 2 Corinthians 8:16-24 where Paul describes the blessings of his co-workers and fellow believers. Paul makes special mention of Titus and two others in whom he has great confidence and joy. Paul refers to these men as partners and fellow workers in sharing and proclaiming the Gospel.

I'd like to encourage you today to stop and give thanks for brothers and sisters in Christ who are a blessing to you and others. One of the joys of the congregation is serving the Lord together. I am thankful when I stop and consider those who give of their time and energy to volunteer during the Sunday morning worship service, lead music, teach Sunday School, lead Wednesday night children and youth ministries, serve on Council, mow grass, pull weeds, plow snow, preach at the Union Gospel Mission, pray for the unborn during 40 Days for Life or serve at The Banquet.

Serving Christ alongside you,
Pastor Kirk Thorson
