Gratitude is a necessary component of faith. A heart that realizes all that Christ has saved us from is not content to be thankful only on the fourth Thursday of November, but every single day.

The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians reminding them of all God had given them. He also challenged them to give to others in cheerful obedience. Our sermon text in 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 calls us to give with cheer in light of
all that God has given us. “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15.
