This month we are continuing with the series “Speaking to the Heart.” Our sermon text today is Jeremiah 12:1-6 in which the prophet cries out to God and which many Bibles describe as Jeremiah’s complaint. If you know the
life of Jeremiah, you know he had every reason to complain (from a human point of view). He was a faithful prophet of the Lord, yet endured great suffering at the hands of his own people. What hope does God offer to those who deal with persistent issues of sadness and heartache?
