Our first three weeks looking at the Commandments focused on the First Table of the Law, which teach us to love God. The Second Table of the Law consists of the last seven commandments that teach us how we ought to love our neighbors.

It is worth noting that God begins the idea of loving our neighbors by first speaking to our relationships with those in our own family.

We will spend our time today looking at the Fourth Commandment through the lens of Ephesians 6:1-9. In this commandment God calls us to fear, love and esteem not just our parents, but all those placed in positions of authority in our life.

Serving Christ alongside you,
Pastor Kirk Thorson
